LG Intuition gets shown off in leaked press shot, may launch on September 15

lg - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

What you see above is technically LG’s Optimus Vu, although the company has renamed it the LG Intuition for the Verizon variant. Other than the change of name and addition of Verizon-compatible hardware, this is likely going to be the same device that you’ve seen before – only this time, you are seeing it with Verizon branding.

This leaked press shot was given to DroidDog, and with it came a release date of September 15. You can even see that date in the weather widget on the device itself. You should always take rumored release dates with a grain of salt, of course, but this date does make sense: if the next iPhone is to be announced on September 12, other companies will want to release their devices sooner so they can try to take away some of the iPhone’s spotlight.

Even if the Intuition isn’t launched on September 15, it’ll be released around that time. When it is finally unveiled by Verizon and LG, will you be picking one up? Let us know in the comments!

Never again will I buy an LG smartphone. As a matter of fact, never again will I buy another LG product in general. My myTouch is still running Gingerbread (took 8 months to get from 2.3.4 to 2.3.6) and I am STILL waiting for the ICS that I was supposed to have gotten during 2nd quarter according to their official statement. It automatically reboots daily while I am trying to sleep (it isn’t pleasant being jolted awake to that loud noise). And I won’t even start on their lack of customer support. That smartphone will be nothing more than an expensive paperweight once purchased because LG refuses to support their devices or acknowledge customer complaints.
