Reminder: You can win a Nexus 7 tablet or $50 cash from Pocketables!

nexus 2 - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Just as a friendly reminder, in a few short days, we’ll be starting a new giveaway in which you can win a brand new Nexus 7 tablet or $50 in cold hard cash, deposited straight to your PayPal account. The contest is open to anyone, regardless of your location, and the two winners will be announced at the end of the contest. Got questions?

Why are you doing this giveaway?

Since we relaunched Pocketables last May with a brand new design and a  larger staff of gadget experts, we’ve been working hard to bring you new and unique perspectives on technology that you can’t find anywhere else. We appreciate those of you who stuck around, and we wish to extend a warm welcome to those of you who only recently discovered us.

How do I win the Nexus 7 tablet?

The rules for the Nexus 7 giveaway are simple: comment on any article on the site, anytime between September 1 and September 30, and you’re automatically entered into the drawing. You can comment as often as you want, and each comment counts as a new entry, thereby increasing your chances of winning. You will need to provide a valid email address so we can contact you if you win, but don’t worry – your email stays private, and we won’t sell it to spammers or use it for anything else. (We hate spam as much as you do!) At the end of the month, we will randomly select one commenter from the pool as our winner!

How do I win $50?

The individual will be chosen by the Pocketables editors based on the quality of the comments he or she leaves. In other words, to increase your chances of winning $50, your comments should have substance and add to the conversation by sharing your own unique perspectives, insight, experiences, opinions, advice, suggestions, or tips.

We’ll remind once more when the contest officially starts. But in the meantime, start practicing now – join in the conversation beneath every article, and help make Pocketables the best online tech community around!
