T-Mobile HTC One S is now $149.99 through 8/21

one s t mobile - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

T-Mobile took to Twitter yesterday to announce a new deal on its popular HTC One S: the fourth-largest carrier is offering the device for $149.99 with a new two-year contract. Here’s the tweet, straight from the horse’s mouth:

This is ONE sweet deal! Check out @tmobile‘s #HTCOne S special offer lasting until 8/21. Details: http://t-mo.co/Mo8iII

The only catch is that you’ll pay $199.99 up front, and wait for your $50 rebate to come later. (Come on, T-Mobile: everyone else is moving away from mail-in rebates; can’t you, too?) Now, I’m not going to say that this isn’t a great deal, but when you’ve got the EVO 4G LTE for Sprint on sale for a penny from Amazon, and the HTC One X for AT&T available for $79.99, it’s a little hard to justify spending $149.99 on a phone with lesser specs.

However, if you’re restricted to T-Mobile for whatever reason, this isn’t a bad deal. You’ll just have to act quick if you want to take advantage of this.
