International quad-core HTC One X gets one day price cut in the UK

one x uk deal - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Two days before HTC’s September 19 press event, where it is expected to announce its new phone lineup, UK retailer Expansys has cut the price of the HTC One X. For today only, HTC’s current flagship device can be had for only £379.99 with free shipping – but keep in mind that this is the LTE-less, Tegra 3 quad-core version of the device, not its LTE-toting dual-core twin. It also comes SIM-free and without a contract, so you’ll be responsible for establishing service yourself.

Still, this is a great deal for a fantastic unlocked smartphone – if you’re in the UK. US consumers who do a quick currency conversion and will realize that this still comes in at over $600, so it’s not so great if you’re stateside. But this is almost £200 less than the original price in the UK.

If you’re interested in this, you’ll have to hurry – the sale ends at 11:00 p.m. UK time.
