Humble eBook Bundle now live, get six eBooks at any price

ebookbundle - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

It’s that time again: Humble Bundle is offering yet another bundle of great things at any price – only this time, it’s selling a number of eBooks instead of its usual offering of apps.

As with every Humble Bundle, this new one allows you to pay any amount of money for six books; if you beat the average, you’ll get another two. The six books that everyone will get are: Pirate Cinema by Cory Doctorow, Pump Six by Paolo Bacigalupi, Zoo City by Lauren Beukes, Invasion by Mercedes Lackey, and Stranger Things Happen and Magic for Beginners, both by Kelly Link. If you pay more than the average, Niel Gaiman and Dave McKean’s graphic novel Signal for Noise and John Scalzi’s book Old Man’s War will also be included.

All eBooks are presented as DRM-free PDF, MOBI, and ePub files.

Whatever you do decide to pay will be split up among three groups: the authors, the charities, and Humble Bundle itself. The three charities that the Humble Bundle is supporting this time are the regular Electronic Frontier Foundation and Child’s Play Charity, but also the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America. You can also customize how much of your money goes to each charity, as well as each writer, too.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it every single time I write about the Humble Bundle: I love it! I love being able to get great apps – or in this case, books – while supporting the creators of the media, as well as charities. As usual, I’ve already purchased the bundle and I highly suggest you do the same.
