iBell turns your iPhone into a retro style alarm clock

ibell - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Many people use their phone as an alarm clock, but I think it’s safe to say that not many has a setup quite like what the iBell gives you. The thing has two actual bells and a hammer to hit them, making sure that the concept of an alarm volume setting is nowhere to be found. If you want to be brutally awaken in the morning, or just like the retro concept, this might just be for you.

There are two versions of the iBell, a cradle version and a mini version that just sticks into the bottom of iOS devices with the 30 pin connector. They’re priced the same at $38, so the cradle really seems like the better buy, especially since it will also charge and hold your iPhone. It will ship in the beginning of November.

It’s a quirky idea, but I like it. With the battle of apps that wake you gentle out there though, this doesn’t exactly follow the traditional style of waking you as softly as possible.
