All WiFi iPad mini models shipments pushed back two weeks

ipadmini2 - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Last Friday, Apple put its new 7.9-inch iPad mini up for preorders. Within a short amount of time, all white and silver WiFi iPad mini models were showing shipping times of two weeks. The black and slate models were still available for order and shipment on Friday, with the 16GB model selling out (for shipment on launch day) a mere 35 hours later.

Today, at the time of publication, all WiFi iPad mini models are sold out – all colors, all capacities.

This certainly wasn’t the blockbuster sales weekend that Apple is used to, but the fact that all WiFi iPad mini models are sold out is a good sign that, despite the relatively higher price of the mini versus other small tablets, people are still interested in Apple’s offering.

In typical Apple fashion, I’m sure the company will send out a press release about another successful preorder weekend at some point.

Were you one of the people who ordered Apple’s latest creation?
