Sega to release Crazy Taxi for iPhone, iPad this month

These days, our mobile phones and tablets are so powerful that they can run the flagship games of years past. Sega, for instance, has already released a number of classic Sonic video games for mobile operating systems – and now, it’s following up with another of its popular franchises, Crazy Taxi.

If you’ve never played Crazy Taxi, I am sorry: it’s an incredibly addicting game that is sure to dish out hours of enjoyment. In essence, the game is a taxi simulator, wherein you drive a taxi around, shuttling people from point A to B and getting rewarded for how quickly you get them there – and how much destruction you cause on the way.

Sega will release an iOS version of the original Crazy Taxi before October comes to a close. There is no mention of a release for any other platforms, unfortunately, but if the iOS version is successful, I’m sure Sega will try to to release it elsewhere, too.
