SwipeSelection for jailbroken iOS devices gives you better text cursor control [Video]

I’ve been beefing up my iPad with more jailbroken apps and tweaks, and one of the tweaks I ended up installing (thanks to this brilliant video) is SwipeSelection. SwipeSelection turns your touch keyboard into a touch pad capable of moving the text cursor around, similar to how a touchpad works on a laptop. This doesn’t interfere with the normal operation of the keyboard, and it also works for selecting text by holding down the shift key. Check out the video above to see how it works.

It’s a great little tool to have, and one of those “Apple should have thought of that” kind of things. So, if your iOS device is jailbroken, you might want to head to Cydia and search for SwipeSelection.

wow, that right there is enough justification to jailbreak.

lack of cursor control is one of the most annoying thing about ipads.
