AnthraX’ed CM10 for the CDMA HTC EVO 3D released
If you have the HTC EVO 3D, and you’ve been waiting patiently for CyanogenMod 10, you’ve probably noticed that it’s appeared in development, been yanked from development, appeared again, and been yanked again. But now, there’s good news from the AnthraX-Kernels.us site: it’s here.
You will need an EVO 3D with an older HBOOT to avoid bootloops. For many, this means it’s time to finally take the plunge and S-OFF your phone using a live CD. I’m one of the many, unfortunately.
The base is a direct sync from TeamJB with an AnthraX kernel thrown in. Currently listed as working are the camera, WiMAX/4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, audio, calls, and 3G. Stereoscopic 3D and 3D camera are not listed as working; however, that’s a bit of a smaller mountain to climb now that there’s a solid base in place.
As with all things containing the AnthraX line of kernels, for strict compliance with GPL requirements, you’ll need to have an account on AnthraX-kernels.us in order to download.
Happy flashing, and let us know how it goes!
