Deal alert: Get a free NFC tag from Movaluate

movaluate free nfc tag - for some reason we don't have an alt tag hereNFC – it’s not just for Google Wallet! Even though that’s been much of the focus with devices like the HTC EVO 4G LTE, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and the ASUS Nexus 7, NFC tags can actually do a lot of really useful things.

For example, you  could stick an NFC tag on the wall by your front door, scan it when you enter your home, and your phone could automatically connect to your home WiFi network. Stick another one in your car, and your phone could turn off WiFi and connect to your car’s Bluetooth system automatically. All you have to do is scan it briefly with your device’s NFC sensor.

Still, NFC tags for personal use haven’t really caught on in the mainstream quite yet, but that’s no reason not to stay ahead of the curve. And right now, Movaluate is making this fairly easy: if you visit Movaluate’s site, and like its Facebook page, you’ll get a code to claim a free NFC tag. The idea here is that Movaluate will then give you an estimate of how much your current phone is worth, in case you were looking to get rid of it by selling it to Movaluate. However, Movaluate says you can reprogram your NFC tag to do anything you want after you get it:

Share the tag with friends or reuse the tag as it is 100% fully customizable and you could use it to your liking. Don’t worry, we won’t be mad.

There’s no telling how long this promotion will last, so get it now while the getting’s good.
