The 8X, which I’ve had the pleasure of using for the last week (Pocketables’ review is forthcoming) features a 4.3-inch 720p HD display, an 8MP camera with impressive image quality, a 2.1MP 88-degree wide-angle front facing camera, and Beats Audio technology.
Unsurprisingly, the Windows Phone 8X will be made available on AT&T for the same price as Verizon. The 16GB model in California Blue will run you $199.99 with a two-year contract, while the 8GB model in AT&T-exclusive Limelight yellow will cost $99.99 on contract. The Windows Phone 8X is a fantastic device, but the Lumia 920 is priced much more aggressively. AT&T’s 8X also lacks the wireless charging found on Verizon’s model.
Nokia and HTC’s Windows Phone 8 offerings have finally been priced and detailed, but you’ll have to wait until December to pick up Samsung’s ATIV S.
