Moon+ Reader Pro now supports full Dropbox integration, is 50% off

A few months ago, we told you about an awesome new Android app called Fabrik – what makes this particular epub reader so special is that it is tightly integrated with Dropbox, meaning it can connect to your Dropbox account and treat all your epub files there as if they were stored locally on your device. In addition to keeping your entire ebook collection synced across all your devices, Fabrik also saves reading progress across devices. And instead of tying you to services like Google Play Books or Barnes and Noble, it doesn’t matter where you get your epub files – just make sure to store them all in Dropbox.

It looks like this concept of a completely cloud-based yet service-agnostic ereading experience is starting to catch on, because now Moon+ Reader Pro offers the exact same functionality as Fabrik. Granted Moon+ Reader Pro does cost money, but it also comes with a lot more features than Fabrik. In addition to tight integration with Dropbox, Moon+ Reader Pro also offers full pdf support, including the ability to fill out forms, highlight, and annotate; handwriting support; and more. It fully supports epub, pdf, mobi, chm, cbr, cbz, umd, fb2, txt, html, rar, zip or OPDS formats, so you can also use it as a comic book reader. And it’s got a ton of customization options that just don’t exist in Fabrik – you can even shake your device to get Moon+ Reader Pro to start reading aloud to you.

And to sweeten the deal, from now until January 4, Moon+ Reader Pro is only $2.49, a full 50% off the normal price of $4.99. With all the features it offers, it’s definitely a steal, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new ebook app.
