This might seem like a small change, but it actually makes the app much more usable. Before, you could use Snap while chatting via text, voice, or video, but it was next to impossible to switch between chats, see who was online, etc. Now, you can Snap the app as soon as you open it, letting you see your recent conversations, favorites, and people who are online in one nice, vertical column. You can even change your online status or call a landline. In fact, the only thing that seems to require two-thirds or all of the screen is the menu for adding a contact to your favorites.
I’m very impressed with the latest version of the Skype app, and I look forward to using it more in the future.
