LG Nexus 4 is now free online from T-Mobile this weekend

free nexus 4 - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Earlier this month, T-Mobile reduced the price of the LG Nexus 4 down to only $50 for all new customers. Even though the Nexus 4 normally sells for only $299, the $50 price was a deal for those who were going to sign a contract anyways.

For the next few days, though, T-Mobile is making the Nexus 4 an even better deal by increasing the “Web-only” discount to $200, dropping the price of the Nexus 4 down to exactly $0.00. As with the previous deal, there are a few caveats. You’ll have to put up $50 which will be returned with a mail-in rebate, you must redeem the offer online, and the offer is only valid through midnight this Sunday, February 24. Of course, you’ll also have to sign a contract and pay contract prices, which means that the delightful $30 “Monthly 4G” plan many users enjoy won’t be an option.

Of course, for those of you planning to sign a contract and pay the prices already, a free Nexus 4 is a better deal than either the Galaxy S III or HTC One X. Personally, I’d still go the prepaid route based on the plan I use, but if you have been on the fence about buying a Nexus 4, now might be the time to pick one up.
