Google begins selling Samsung Nexus 10 covers in the Play Store

Nexus 10 cover - for some reason we don't have an alt tag here

Those of you disappointed by a lack of official accessories for the Samsung Nexus 10 should be happy to hear that Google has finally started selling a cover for the 10-inch tablet – almost five full months after the device first hit the market.

The accessory costs $29.99 and is available now for delivery in 3-5 business days. The case attaches directly to the back of Nexus 10 and folds over like a book. Ultra-thin in design, it protects the screen without adding much bulk, and the Nexus 10’s screen will automatically turn on when opening the cover. Closing it also puts the tablet back to sleep.

It’s available in dark grey and scarlet, although the scarlet looks more like a bright orange. In any case, if you’ve been longing for an official accessory for what was supposed to be Google’s new flagship tablet, the wait is finally over. The only question I still have is, why the heck did it take so long to release this?
