HTC One mini launches exclusively on AT&T on August 23

Earlier this morning, AT&T announced that it would be the exclusive launch partner in the US for the HTC One mini. It will be available later this week, on August 23, for $99.99 with a new two-year contract.

The One mini shares mostly the same design and features as the regular HTC One, in a more compact form factor. Official specs include an aluminum body with a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 HD 720p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core 1.4 GHz processor, HTC’s UltraPixel camera, and dual front-facing BoomSound speakers. Other HTC Sense software features include BlinkFeed and Zoe.

This looks like a good option for those who want to get the HTC One experience, but don’t want to spend quite as much for the phone, or who prefer smaller devices. It is a little disappointing to see this as an AT&T exclusive, as having more choices is always preferable, but it should be easy enough to unlock if necessary.

Will any of you be picking up the HTC One mini?
