Deal alert: Best Buy will give you up to $262.50 for your old LG Nexus 4
It’s not very common that in-store cell phone trade-in programs offer consumers a truly great deal, but this is one of those rare exceptions. Right now, if you bring your LG Nexus 4 to Best Buy, you can get up to $262.50 for the device in the form of a gift card. It apparently doesn’t matter whether the phone has 8GB or 16GB, as long as it’s in perfect condition.
Even if your phone does have a few small scratches, Best Buy’s trade-in pricing is still very competitive. The electronics retailer is still willing to give $250 for devices in “good” condition, or $112.50 in “poor” condition. Given that most people are lucky to get above $50 for a phone in poor condition, this is truly a good bargain.
This deal also comes just weeks before a new Nexus phone is expected to be announced. Therefore, if you’ve got an old spare phone laying around that you don’t mind using until the new Nexus comes, get yourself over to Best Buy and get rid of your Nexus 4 right away – there’s no telling how long this will last!
The only negative side to this is that the credit comes in the form of a gift card, and Best Buy doesn’t always sell Nexus phones. But perhaps this is a sign that things will change?
