ISIS Mobile Wallet finally rolls out nationwide to Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile customers

ISIS IconISIS Mobile Wallet – something that we’ve been hearing about for over a year now – is finally ready to go national. After a beta test in several cities across the US, the Google Wallet competitor is now available to download on Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile devices, although a compatible device and a special SIM card are required.

While ISIS is still quite restricted by certain hardware and SIM card requirements, Google Wallet is moving away from needing a specific carrier, or even a secure NFC element. Instead, starting with Android 4.4, Google Wallet wireless payments are available on any NFC compatible phone, period.

In any case, if you’ve got a compatible phone and a compatible carrier, give it a try and download the app from the Play Store. Links – along with compatible devices – appear below.
