“Amber gold” HTC One max is now available

HTC One max gold

Now that the HTC One is available in gold, it’s more than fitting that HTC’s other flagship device should be made available in gold, too.

For now, the HTC One max in “amber gold” is only available to consumers in Taiwan, although it’s probable that HTC will make it available to the rest of the world soon enough (the Taiwanese manufacturer often likes to test and release new products and features in its home turf first, before letting the rest of the world get its grubby fingers all over them). It’s currently available at only 88 stores in Taiwan and is selling it for NT$23,999, which is a little less than $800 USD.

It comes with 16GB of internal storage, but is otherwise identical to the HTC One max that we know and love here: it’s got the same 5.9-inch 1080p display, the same quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor with the same 2GB of RAM, and the same 3300 mAh battery. Of course, the controversial UltraPixel camera remains, along with the fingerprint sensor on the back.

Any of you jealous of our Taiwanese friends?
