HTC One might receive OTA update today or tomorrow to address some customer complaints

HTC LogoIt looks like HTC is listening to its customers who are having seemingly endless issues with the latest OTA update on their HTC One devices.

After Pocketables reader Jared sent us a message to let us know about yet another issue – that the LTE radio no longer functions for some people –  HTC reached out to him to let him know that a fix was incoming:

Looks like your site is giving some heat to HTC.  I just received a call from 3rd tier support they will be releasing an update (unnumbered as of yet) to address the PRL, Profile, and 4G signal issues along with some other miscellaneous fixes.  This update should be available for download by Thursday/Friday.

Since this is all we have to go by, let’s call this update a rumor at this point. But if you’ve got a trouble-ridden HTC One in your pocket, you may want to start hitting that update button just in case. The sooner these issues can be resolved, the better – and preferably without a hard reset being one of the requirements!

Thanks, Jared!
