AT&T subsidiary Aio Wireless has fascinated me since coming onto the national scene several months ago. Not only does it offer AT&T’s nationwide native footprint, but all taxes and fees are included in the monthly price, and it’s one of the only remaining ways to get unlimited (albeit throttled) data on AT&T’s LTE network.
Now, Aio has unveiled three new plans that give users either more data or a lower monthly rate – or both:
- Aio’s “Basic” plan is still $40/month, but it now offers users 500MB of data (formerly 250MB). Additionally, this plan no longer appears to be restricted to feature phones only.
- Aio’s “Smart” plan is $50/month, and offers 2.5GGB of data (formerly 2GB).
- Aio’s “Pro” plan is $60/month (formerly $70), and offers users 5GB of data (formerly 7GB).
Additionally, Aio is now giving users who sign up for autopay a $5 discount each month – this means it’s possible to get a plan with unlimited talk, text, and data for only $35/month. Not bad, AT&T!
