Show off your home screen

FR3 icon packA few days ago, Pocketables switched to Disqus. One of the things that allowed us to do was approve comments almost immediately due to the spam filtering that Disqus employs (our old system was failing miserably requiring us to approve comments manually), but the other thing it allowed us to do is post pictures in comments. That’s something we’ve never been able to do at Pocketables.

So to these ends, we’ve had a whole creative group of creative device enthusiasts who have been modifying their phones, tablets, etc. to look extremely cool, and it’s time to show you off.

So if you’ve got a tricked out setup and want to show it off, in the comments section below, just click the little photo icon in add comment, upload your photo, and show the world your creativity. Alternately, show the world the cool wallpaper or sweet icon pack you found, it’s up to you.

For those who don’t have a particularly cool home screen (I don’t, I flash too much to get anything customized), go ahead and vote for who you like. The screen with the most votes by April 16, 2014, will win something. (I’m not really sure what that is, and it may just be being called the winner in this thread or I might mail you something absurdly cheap and essentially worthless.) Even if you’ve just got some cool icons, go ahead and give it a try.

So go ahead and give it a whirl. Winner probably will be announced April 16 sometime, although really the prize is probably nothing more than notoriety or something that fits in a standard envelope and is laying on my desk.
