Verizon might have a two week exclusivity period with HTC One

Although the All New HTC One is set to be unveiled this week, American consumers on Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile might have to wait a bit longer than the rest of the world to get their hands on the device. That’s because, if recent rumors are to be believed, Verizon has negotiated a two week exclusivity deal with HTC for the device in the US.

If this is true, this would be a marked difference for the nation’s largest wireless carrier. Last year, there was significant doubt whether or not Verizon would carry the HTC One at all – and then, almost out of nowhere, Verizon announced that it would indeed carry the HTC One, albeit months after Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile.

It’s very possible that Verizon realized its previous mistake and wants to remedy it this time around. In any case, we’ll know for sure tomorrow, when the new HTC One is set to be officially unveiled to an eager global audience.
