Sprint offers 4G LTE in 41 more cities, Spark in 6 more

Sprint Network VisionSprint announced early this morning that it has expanded its 4G LTE network into 41 more cities, including  Long Island, NewYork ; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Phoenix, Arizona. This means it now covers more than 225 million people with LTE and is still on track to cover 250 million by the middle of 2014. Additionally, Sprint’s Spark network has expanded by six more cities:

  • Newark, New Jersey
  • Oakland, California
  • Orlando, Florida
  • Tacoma, Washington
  • Waukegan, Illinois
  • West Palm Beach, Florida

Interestingly, Sprint did not choose to list all 41 new cities in which LTE is now available – the first for a carrier that previously preferred to brag as much as possible about each and every market LTE entered, even tiny ones like Manhattan, Kansas. Sprint still lists all 4G LTE markets in this list, available on its press site (there are currently 443 cities on the list). Spark is currently available in 24 cities.

Anyone here noticing Sprint LTE in more places? Post your speed test results below!
