Verizon HTC One M8 updated to 1.55.605.2

HTC One M8

If you’re a Verizon customer with an HTC One M8, you should start hitting that update button right away! The carrier is currently in the middle of rolling out a minor update to the device, bumping the software version up to 1.55.605.2.

Coming in at over 121MB, Verizon says users can expect these changes:

  • ERI Update to remove the roaming indicator icon displayed on some HTC One M8 devices (Out of Box)
  • Resolved issue related to webpage and application connection errors in certain conditions
  • Bluetooth® connectivity improvements
  • Gallery- Integrated a new Copy/Paste feature
  • Gallery- Mute/Edit buttons on the Video Highlights tile
  • Improved sync behavior while closing the flip with Dot matrix case

Of course, if you’re rooted, you’ll want to wait until the developer of your particular ROM patches in these changes; otherwise, you might really mess something up.

If you do take the update, be sure to let us know how it’s treating you, and whether you notice the introduction of any new bugs or maybe even some new features that weren’t mentioned in the changelog!
