Deal alert: Amazon offers $5 off $25 purchase just for downloading a Chrome extension
Amazon sure loves to give away freebies just for downloading stuff. The latest deal is $5 off a $25 purchase just for downloading Amazon’s 1Button App Chrome extension.
Of course, there is some fine print to worry about. First, this is only available to people who have never installed the 1Button app before. Second, the discount can only be applied to products sold and shipped by Amazon.com, not third party sellers. So you’ll have to pay attention to the “Sold by” line on each product description. (It is, however, also valid for the digital content that Amazon sells.) And finally, the offer expires on June 30, which means that you have a little more than three weeks to spend the credit.
These restrictions are fairly reasonable, though, and this is a pretty painless way to get five bucks to spend at Amazon. So, what are you going to buy with your Amazon credit?
