HTC Desire 816 will soon be available on Virgin Mobile

According to the latest leak by @evleaks, the HTC Desire 816 will soon be available on Virgin Mobile USA, along with the LG Pulse, LG Unify, and ZTE Emblem. All devices are mid-range and should be priced accordingly, although we don’t have any information yet on how much the devices will run.

One interesting thing here is that the Desire 816 shows a time of 10:10 on its display, instead of the usual 10:08 that HTC normally includes on promotional press images.

It’s unknown whether the Virgin Mobile version of the Desire 816 will be any different than the regular version, but if not, we can expect a 5.5-inch 720p display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB memory, Android 4.4.2 with HTC Sense 5,5, and a non-removable 2600mAh battery.

There’s also no word yet on a release date, but we’ll keep our eyes on it. In any case, it’s certainly more than adequate for a prepaid carrier like Virgin, and it’s nice to see HTC targeting all segments of the market
