Boost Mobile doubles data and lowers prices

Feeling the heat from T-Mobile, one of Sprint’s prepaid brands – Boost Mobile – has decided to run a promotion that gives customers double the data for a lower monthly cost. This sale will last from today (September 3) through November 3, and will see the following plans on tap, all with a$5 discount:

  • $35 for unlimited talk, text, and data with 1GB of data at the highest available speeds.
  • $45 for the same, except 5GB of high speed data.
  • $55 for the same, with 10GB of data.

If Sprint’s network coverage is strong in your area, this is definitely worth looking into. Even on my unlimited, unthrottled plan with T-Mobile, I have yet to come anywhere close to 10GB (I usually max out around 5GB each month, although I’ve been known to go as high as 7 or 8). 10GB would be more than enough for the average consumer (even 5GB would suffice for most), and at under $60, the price can’t really be beat, either.

T-Mobile, the ball is now in your court.
