After giving us some great info yesterday about the next OTA update for the HTC One M8 on Verizon, HTC’s Mo Versi has again gone to Twitter, this time with some great news for T-Mobile users. According to the HTC exec, the T-Mobile version of the HTC One M7 will get updated to Android 4.4.3 tomorrow, and the update will include WiFi calling enhancements.
While the update is expected to start tomorrow, typically not all users get updated at once. So start hitting that update button tomorrow morning, and hope that you are one of the first in line to get it.
It will be interesting to see what kind of WiFi calling improvements will come from this update, as the feature generally performs quite well on almost all T-Mobile devices anyway. Maybe users will see slightly better call quality, reduced battery life, or a little bit of both. If you get the update tomorrow, be sure to let us know how it works for you.
