Google Nexus 9 by HTC could be announced October 15 for $399

Nexus 9 leak

HTC fans, are you ready? According to the leaked information, as reported by Bright Side of News, the Google Nexus 9 by HTC could launch as early as Wednesday, October 15, with an actual availability date of November 3.

The tablet is said to have a price tag of $399, making it an affordable premium tablet given the rumored specs: an 8.9-inch display with 2048 x 1440 resolution and 281 ppi, an NVIDIA Logan 64-bit processor (Tegra K1), 2GB RAM, 16 or 32GB internal storage options, an 8MP OIS main camera, a 3MP front facing camera, aluminum zero-gap construction, and stereo front-facing speakers.

According to the latest reports, the Nexus 9 will not be sold exclusively on the Play Store, but instead will be available through several different retail outlets. This will give it a broader reach than many previous Nexus devices, and hopefully ensure its retail success, especially during the holiday shopping season.

We’ll know by Wednesday if this particular rumor is true, but God I hope it is.
