HTC confirms that the HTC One M7 and M8 will get Android Lollipop

Lollipop

If you’re not a fan of stock Android, but you still like having the latest version running on your device, life can be tough sometimes. But luckily, if you’re an HTC fan with a relatively recent device, you can count on getting the Android Lollipop update within 90 days of the official release. (Assuming November 3 is the official release, and it’s seeming likely that it is, HTC fans should expect the update to start rolling out around the beginning of February, as long as carriers cooperate.)

This is according to several tweets from HTC execs, and the official HTC account itself:

Specifically, the HTC One M7, the One mini (2013), and the One M8 were named as getting the update. We’ll keep our ears open in case there are more.
