Sprint HTC One M7 gets OTA update to 5.05.651.2
The Sprint HTC One M7 is currently getting an OTA update to software version 5.05.651.2. Weighing in at 325.18MB, the changelog officially lists only “Google security enhancements.”
To check and see if the update is available for your device, just navigate to HTC software updates in your system settings. Of course, since this update is somewhat large, you’ll most likely want to be connected to WiFi and make sure your battery isn’t too low. HTC and Sprint also love staggered roll outs, so it’s possible it might not be available for everyone right away.
If you’re rooted, you may want to wait until the developer of whatever custom ROM you run incorporates the changes into the ROM. Otherwise, as you should already know, you might break something.
