Happy Nexus 9 day!

Nexus 9

It’s November 3, and if you’re a hardcore Android enthusiast like me, this day can only mean one thing: It’s time to go out and by a Google Nexus 9 tablet, by HTC!

As of this morning, the 16GB and 32GB WiFi-only versions tablet have officially gone on sale in several retail outlets, linked here:

There are, of course, advantages and disadvantages with each retailers. Google Play offers the best warranty support, but you pay for it in higher and slower shipping costs for your initial order. Amazon allows most people to skip paying the sales tax up front, and it also offers free two-day shipping for Amazon Prime members, but Amazon support is hit or miss in the months following the sale. Best Buy is allowing potential buyers to pick up the tablet same day if it’s in stock in a local store, but this depends on your local supply.

The sand color and LTE-enabled versions are listed on Google Play as “coming soon,” while Best Buy is currently taking pre-orders for the LTE version.

Are any of you getting a Nexus 9 today? If so, let us know your “day one” purchasing experience in the comments below!
