Readers, did you get an HTC One M8 for $299 yesterday?

HTC Hot Deals M8 sold out

From now through the end of the holiday shopping season, HTC is giving its customers and fans some totally awesome deals through its “HTC Hot Deals” weekly promotions. Last week, if you were quick enough (like me), you were able to snag a 16GB Google Nexus 9 for half off. And yesterday, HTC was offering the HTC One M8 for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint for only $299.

Yes – $299 for a carrier-branded off-contract HTC One M8.

Unlike the first time around, HTC was a little more transparent about inventory for this particular promotion: Only the first 200 people who attempted to complete the purchase could get the phone for this price. If you happened to be customer 201-500, you could purchase the HTC One M8 for $499, which is $80-150 cheaper than the normal off-contract price for the phone, depending on the carrier.

If you happened to miss this one all together, you can check back next Tuesday at noon EST to see what will be up for grabs. Just bookmark this link.

In any case, Pocketables readers, were you one of the lucky few to get this deal? We know there are quite a few HTC fans who read this site, so hopefully some of you got in on this before it was too late. Let us know in the comments!
