Some Google Wallet users seeing gifts

Android Police is reporting that users have been seeing gift cards for various locations start popping up in Google Wallet.

If you’re a Wallet user, open it up, see if there’s a section that says “Have a treat on Google” and claim your reward.

I’m not one of the ones who Google Claus visited this year, which may be because there’s next to nowhere that either accepted tap to pay in my area or worked properly when I attempted. Out of 20+ attempts, I’m at four successes in two years, so I may just not look like I use it.

The reports of gift cards seen in the wild tend to indicate you’ll get one from one of the following locations if you do get one: Regal Cinemas, AMC Theaters, Staples, Whole Foods, and Toys R Us.
