Random CES fun: Paul learns how to ride the IO Hawk

Have you got $1800 just burning a hole in your wallet? Do you think that walking is so 2014? Then you might be interested in the IO Hawk – the intelligent personal mobility device.

This is just one of many things we’ve stumbled upon so far, and our own Paul E. King was brave enough to hop on and give it a spin. (He really did start spinning at one point, and accidentally punched the guy who was helping him in the face. Talk about gratitude!)

Paul told me that it only took a few minutes to get used to the thing, at which point it became a breeze. Personally, I wasn’t brave enough to try it myself.
