HTC confirms that the new HTC One phone will arrive on March 1

Well, look at that – after months of rumors and speculation, HTC has finally confirmed that it is announcing a new phone on March 1, and it will be a new HTC One. This confirmation comes from HTC’s UK Twitter account, which – you know – should be pretty reliable.

Of course, this is exactly what we expected after HTC first announced that it would hold a press event on March 1. While we don’t know anything else for sure, rumors also point to a new Snapdragon 810 processor, a 20MP+ back camera, and UltraPixel front-facing camera, and more.

There is of course also speculation that HTC will announce a new smartwatch on March 1 to go along with the new phone. And it might not even run Android Wear, opting instead for a new HTC OS that is called RTOS. We’ll know for sure soon enough.

What’s on your wishlist for the HTC One M9?
