The Nexus 6 is now available on Amazon Prime

Nexus 6 Amazon

If you’re lucky enough to live in a state where Amazon is not required to collect sales tax (as of February 1, my state is no longer one of them), then you might be pleased to know that the Google Nexus 6 by Motorola is now available on Amazon, with free Prime shipping.

And, unlike some phones sold on Amazon, there’s not an absurd markup – this time, Amazon itself is doing the selling, not any unscrupulous third party sellers.

Currently, the 32GB Nexus 6 both in cloud white and midnight blue is available for $649.99. Combined with no tax for most and free two day shipping, this is a better deal than what you’ll find from any carrier or even directly from the Google Play Store. (Hey – sales tax can really add up on those high dollar purchases!)

Most likely, this version will work fine with any carrier, including Verizon very soon. We’re hoping it won’t have any of the IMEI issues that some carrier-sold versions do.
