Deal alert: T-Mobile is giving new Samsung Galaxy S6 purchases a year of free Netflix

In spite of the fact that none of us at Pocketables own any Samsung Galaxy devices, and even though the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge aren’t even available to purchase quite yet, we thought we’d be good Android reporters and let you know that if you get one through T-Mobile, you’ll have an extra treat to look forward to.

T-Mobile CEO John Legere announced via his popular Twitter account earlier today that anyone who gets a Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge on T-Mobile will get a year of Netflix for free. That’s an almost-$100 value, and a great incentive not only to consider a Samsung device if you don’t already have one, but also to consider T-Mobile if you’re on one of the other carriers.

According to T-Mobile, the deal will be available from March 27 to April 9, and only while codes last. We still don’t have a launch date for the Galaxy S6, either. But this looks like a great deal, and it demonstrates how confident T-Mobile is that its network can handle a lot of HD video streaming.
