Amazon Prime Instant Video is now available on tablets, but still no Chromecast

For whatever reason, it seems like Amazon really has it out for the typical Android user. After several years of availability of Amazon Prime Instant Video on Apple devices like the iPhone and iPad, Android users were still left out in the cold. This remained the case until just a few months ago, when Amazon finally opened the service up to Android devices … but still, only phones.

This seems like an interesting approach for a retailer whose popular Kindle tablets run a modified version of Android, but who am I to judge?
