HTC is planning to announce the HTC One M9 Plus in China

HTC One M9 Plus inviteBefore HTC’s official announcement of the HTC One M9, we got a few leaks that seemed to indicate the device would come in several sizes. While most people assumed that this was a “Plus” version of the phone, we didn’t hear anything about it in Barcelona.

Well, that all changes on April 8 – if the latest indications are correct, and they are coming from good sources, then HTC will unveil a One M9 Plus in China.

The HTC One M9 Plus will reported come with a 5.5-inch QHD display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, a Mediatek MT6795 64-bit octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of on-board storage, BoomSound speakers (of course), a fingerprint sensor, a 20MP back camera, and the same Duo Camera setup on the HTC One M8.

Although this seems targeted to Asian markets, it’s always a possibility that this could make an appearance in the US. If it does, would you buy it?
