T-Mobile users get 12 months of free access to Bayern Munich soccer…but will they care?

FCB

Americans love their sports: baseball, football, basketball, hockey … But soccer? In my experience, the only time Americans love soccer is every four years during the World Cup, and then only as long as the US in the running. After the US drops out, we go back to our other sports.

But in case you’re one of the few who loves soccer, and you have an interest in German soccer at that, you can get a 12-month subscription to Bayern Munich’s on-demand streaming service for free, as long as you’re a T-Mobile US customer.

The service actually has quite a bit of content for German soccer fans, including match highlights immediately after each game, replays of full live games within 24 hours after the game is over, player interviews, behind the scenes footage, and more.

We can probably thank T-Mobile German parent company, Deutsche Telekom, for this, but I’m still not sure how many customers T-Mobile will win over with this. In any case, it’s there for you if you want it. Enjoy.
