HTC announces new affordable, premium HTC Desire line up

HTC Desire 626

HTC has just announced four new HTC Desire LTE smartphones, which the Taiwanese manufacturer is positioning as “premium” and “affordable” smartphones. The devices are the HTC Desire 626, the HTC Desire 626s, the HTC Desire 526, and the HTC Desire 520.

HTC says that many of the same features found in the HTC One M9 are also available in this line up, and that the new HTC Desire design will “withstand the test of time.”

Desire 526

  • 2000mAh battery

Desire 626

  • 2000mAh battery
  • 5-inch 720p screen
  • Android 5.1 with Sense 7
  • 8MP/5MP cameras
  • Wireless—3G CDMA: 800/1900 MHz;4G LTE: 4, 13 (626s not listed)

Pricing and availability isn’t available quite yet, but HTC promises that the following carriers will carry these and announce these details soon on their own: AT&T, Boost Mobile, Cricket, MetroPCS, Sprint Prepaid, T-Mobile, Tracfone, Verizon Wireless, and Virgin Mobile USA.
