HTC One M9 on T-Mobile updated to 2.7.531.6, Android 5.1
T-Mobile users who happen to have the HTC One M9 on T-Mobile – hit that update button! The device is getting a software update to Android 5.1, and HTC software version 2.7.531.6.

This update to Android 5.1 comes after the unlocked HTC One M9, the developer edition of the M9, and the AT&T version have also been updated. Of course, HTC is notorious for putting out extremely buggy updates, so accept this one at your own risk. If you’re rooted, it’s probably better to just wait for your favorite developer to update his or own custom ROM with these update, and strip out all the bad stuff.
