AT&T brings its own version of “Mobile Without Borders” to its prepaid customers

ATT GoPhone Canada Mexico

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and it’s that’s the case, T-Mobile should be incredibly flattered. It seems like almost everyone is taking their cues from the nation’s third largest carrier these days, including AT&T, which just announced its own version of “Mobile Without Borders” earlier today.

Beginning on August 21, customers on the $60 prepaid GoPhone plan will automatically get 4GB of high speed data that can be used in the US, Mexico, and Canada, along with unlimited calling and texting to and from these three countries. Additionally, customers on this plan will receive $5 off if they choose to sign up for Auto Refill.

AT&T’s other GoPhone plans will remain unchanged:

AT&T says that it appreciates its customers and “this is our way of showing it”…but I think we can all see through that and know that they feel the heat from T-Mobile.
