Android tweets looked like a key stuck
If you were on Twitter last night you might have noticed that there were several people retweeting Android’s multiple messages, all of which only contained punctuation and the letter C.
Some cries that Google had been hacked went out, which were wrong on a couple of fronts because it would have been Twitter that was hacked, or Google’s twitter password, but whatever.
When we finished the C to shining C event it was revealed that the multiple C tweets were for their “be together, not the same” commercial that was airing during the Grammys.
“Cccc cc’cc cc ccccccc, ccc cccccccccc ccccccccc, cccc’c cccc ccccc ccccccc.” —Cc, ccccccc.
Cc cccccccc. #CccCccCccc
— Android (@Android) February 16, 2016
There were several all C messages that were later revealed which included
Be together.
#NotTheSame (keys)“When we’re in harmony, but distinctly different, that’s when magic happens.” —Ji, pianist. Be together.
#NotTheSame“When we’re in harmony, but distinctly different, that’s when magic happens.” —Ji, pianist. Be together.
#NotTheSameEverything’s better when different keys come together. Be together.
#NotTheSamehttps://youtu.be/xLhJIFC8xkYAll “c” and no “abdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz” makes this a dull tweet. Be together.
#NotTheSamehttps://youtu.be/xLhJIFC8xkYMiddle C is better with friends. Like E. And G. Heck, even B. Be together.

In case you’re not feeling like playing the commercial, there’re two keyboards, one has a person playing music, and the other keyboard is all tuned to middle C and when he plays the same over there it’s… rather lame.
I’m pretty sure it’s a thinly veiled diss on Apple’s uniformity, but then again I was at about 5 days with 10 hours of sleep when I saw it and I don’t particularly trust the judgement of yesterday’s me. They could also be saying “be different by going with one single company’s OS!”
Dunno.
