2016 Sucked, Welcome 2017
2016 was a rough year for everyone, pocketables included we started the year bouncing around between servers and took a hit for the first few months before getting things righted again, fortunately we’ve been solid since and have no plans of repeating that this year.
Several new writers joined Paul as staff members in 2016, including myself (Daniel Smith), at the same time several talented writers also joined; including our resident deal hunter/randomness poster Ben Carr; the Tasker automation specialist Mat Zolnierczyk (don’t ask me how that’s pronounced), Robert Daniels who has covered several interesting phones this year, and Kayla Matthews who is a writer for several other publications in addition to our humble site.
We also covered our first full blown pc’s as well as several interesting storage devices intended for phones, drones, and all manner of devices; and as with every year we watched and reported on the launch of several flagship devices this year, some of which were excellent devices but will simply fade into the past being overshadowed by variants iterating on their design, while others met a more fiery end; and some we are concerned about meeting a similar battery related FAA ban and fiery end in 2017. We intend to continue with cutting edge coverage, long-term reviews, as well as exploring new areas going forward.
Is there something you want to see us to do more coverage of in 2017? Something that you want us to cover that we haven’t touched on yet? Something we used to cover but has fallen off our radar?
Please let us know in the comments!
