Lenovo is expected to announce the Moto G5 and G5 Plus next week at the Mobile World Conference. As such, information about them is trickling out from multiple sources. The latest info comes from South American retailer K*Tronix via Droid Life. A Redditor by the name of eggomallow found and grabbed the details from the K*Tronix listing before it was pulled.
The G5 and G5 Plus are the shockingly named sequels to last year’s cross-carrier budget G4 and G4 Plus phones. I had a chance to review last year’s models and loved them. In a departure from last year it looks like the G5 and G5 Plus will boast distinct chipsets and displays. Hopefully this year’s phones will build upon the success of last year’s.
