Updates, changes, yadda yadda yadda
We’re going to change our theme and lose the best that 2013 had to offer in terms of WordPress hosting. As people fear change, figured I’d throw this up there that mainly I’m doing it to rid the site of some of the old site stuff that is no longer relevant.
Anyhow, starting sometime next week we’re going to change it out to a theme, see if we like it, if not chuck it and move on. As people tend to voice displeasure rather aggressively, if you actually like something let it be known. We’re trying to avoid something like fark’s “you’ll get over it” debacle, but still all of the contributors are over the site and the limitations with the theme we have.
I’m also going to attempt to remove all trackers, counters, etc other than basic adsense/analytics (which probably pays the hosting bills,). No site should have 200+ lookups for a page view.
As for Pocketables, it’s been renewed another year, in April or June there’s supposed to be a board meeting where they decide whether they’re going to sell off the assets or hand them over to me for what they owe, so who knows.
Also, as GoodAndEVO was sold, lost, transferred, etc. Pretty sure I’m going to drop references to it from the site going forward. While I started there and that was my thing, it’s gone.
Also, I’m back from vacation so you’ll be hearing from me tomorrow or next week.
